E-commerce price tracker — scrape product prices, stock and variants
Paste product URLs from Amazon, Walmart, Target, John Lewis or any Shopify store (or a keyword plus marketplaces) and build a ready-to-run product price tracker: every run returns the price, the was-price, the currency, stock and variants, and monitor mode flags price drops, price rises and back-in-stock against the previous run. Starting a daily baseline before Black Friday (Friday, November 27, 2026) lets you check whether a holiday "deal" is really below the recent price.

To track e-commerce prices, list the product pages you care about, re-scrape them on a schedule and compare each run with the last. This free builder creates that input for E-commerce Product Scraper Pro, an Apify actor that returns price, was-price, currency, stock and variants from Amazon, Walmart, Target, John Lewis and any Shopify store, and flags price drops, price rises and back-in-stock in monitor mode.
Retailer product pages can't be read from your browser, so this builds a ready-to-run input for the actor and shows a fixed example of the output shape — not live prices. Use sites from the actor's supported-sites table: eBay, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Etsy, Allegro and Newegg are not supported (they get a status row and are never billed).
A fixed sample of the fields the ecommerce-product-scraper-pro actor returns for this query — example data, not live results. Run it on Apify for real, complete output.

- This page is a query builder: it assembles a ready-to-run input and shows a fixed sample of real output rows, not live prices for the URLs you type.
- Each product row has the price as a number with an ISO currency code, the was-price (originalPrice) when the page shows a higher one, inStock, a stock count when the page states it, variants[] and the source URL.
- Monitor mode compares every product with the previous run of the same URL list and sets changeType to new, price-down, price-up, back-in-stock, out-of-stock, changed or unchanged, with previousPrice and priceChangePct.
- Supported sites include any Shopify or WooCommerce store, Amazon US, Amazon Germany, Walmart, Target, John Lewis, M&S, Zalando Germany and Aldi UK. eBay, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Etsy, Allegro and Newegg are not supported.
- Pricing is pay per event: $0.005 per run start plus $0.0008 to $0.0048 per product depending on your Apify plan. Sites reached over datacenter connections, such as Shopify stores, Amazon US, Walmart and Target, pay no traffic fee.
- For Black Friday (November 27, 2026) and Cyber Monday (November 30, 2026), start a daily baseline a few weeks ahead so you can compare the sale price with the recent price, not only with the was-price the retailer shows.
1. Product URLs, categories or a keyword
Put product pages in detailsUrls, category or search pages in listingUrls, or a keyword plus marketplaces such as Amazon US, Walmart and Target. A URL in the wrong field is moved automatically. Shopify and WooCommerce stores, Amazon US, Walmart, Target, John Lewis and Zalando are reached over datacenter connections; some sites, such as IKEA, Amazon UK or Noon, need residential traffic or a browser, which is billed per MB or per render.
2. Monitor mode turns runs into a price history
With monitorMode on, every product is compared with the previous run of the same URL list and gets a changeType: new, price-down, price-up, back-in-stock, out-of-stock, changed or unchanged, plus previousPrice, priceChange and priceChangePct. With onlyChanges, only new or changed products are written and unchanged ones are billed at the lower product-checked price. Editing the URL list starts a fresh baseline.
3. Holiday season: start the baseline early
Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Schedule the same input daily on Apify a few weeks before, and you can see whether a holiday price is below the recent price or only below the was-price. The originalPrice field is the was-price the page shows, which is the retailer's own claim, not a verified price history.
- Add the products to trackPaste product page URLs from supported stores (Amazon US, Walmart, Target, John Lewis, any Shopify store and so on), or a category page, or a keyword plus marketplaces.
- Choose monitor and output optionsKeep monitor mode on to get changeType, previousPrice and priceChangePct. Choose every product per run for a full price history, or only new or changed products for alerts.
- Copy the inputPress the build button, then copy the JSON. The example output below the builder is a fixed sample of real rows, not live prices for your URLs.
- Run and schedule it on ApifyOpen E-commerce Product Scraper Pro on Apify, paste the input and start the run. Then create a daily schedule with the same input; changing the URL list starts a new baseline.
- Read the results and the status rowsProducts appear in the run's dataset with price, currency, originalPrice, inStock and variants. The Status dataset has one row per input explaining anything blocked, unsupported or skipped.

}New Apify accounts start on the free plan: $5 of usage every month to spend in Apify Store, no credit card required. After that, it's pay-as-you-go.
Paste the input below into the actor → click Start. There is no free trial inside the actor; Apify's free plan ($5 of usage every month) covers trying it, then it's pay-as-you-go.
- Shopify and WooCommerce stores, Amazon US, Walmart, Target, Zalando, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Aldi UK were reached over datacenter connections, so products from them carry no residential traffic fee.
- E-commerce Product Scraper Pro README, residential-traffic table measured in the author's cloud tests, October 2026.
- 100 Amazon US products cost $0.085 on Apify's GOLD tier: 100 × $0.0008 per product plus the $0.005 run start.
- Pricing examples in the actor's README (generated from its pay-per-event price list), October 2026.
- In the latest cloud tests, Amazon Germany delivered 84% and Amazon UK 95% of deliverable products; Amazon occasionally serves empty pages or captchas, so yields vary from run to run.
- Limitations section of the actor's README, cloud tests October 2026.
- Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27 (the day after U.S. Thanksgiving, the fourth Thursday of November) and Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30.
- Calendar dates for 2026; U.S. federal law fixes Thanksgiving as the fourth Thursday of November.
- The example rows on this page are real product rows (trimmed) from the actor's cloud runs on 18 to 20 October 2026, across Skullcandy, Target, Walmart, Amazon US, John Lewis and Amazon Germany.
- Author's Apify run datasets, October 2026; the fields shown are unchanged, long fields were removed.
How do I track a product's price over time?
Put the product page URLs in the actor's detailsUrls field, switch monitorMode on and schedule the same input daily (or hourly) on Apify. The first run is the baseline. Every later run returns each product's current price and a changeType such as price-down or back-in-stock, with previousPrice and priceChangePct, so the dataset of each run becomes your price history. You can export it as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send it to Google Sheets through Apify's integrations.
Does this page show live prices for my URLs?
No. Retailer product pages cannot be read from a visitor's browser, so this page is a query builder. It turns your URLs and options into a ready-to-run input and shows a fixed example of the output: real product rows trimmed from the actor's own cloud runs on 18 to 20 October 2026. To get live prices, paste the input into the actor on Apify and start the run.
Which stores and marketplaces does the price tracker support?
Verified as supported in the actor's October 2026 cloud tests: any Shopify or WooCommerce store, Amazon US and Amazon Germany, Walmart, Target, John Lewis, M&S, Waitrose, Aldi UK, Zalando Germany, Bol and Craigslist. Best-effort (works with a known gap): the other Amazon storefronts, IKEA, Noon, Wayfair, Mercado Libre, Sephora and several UK grocers. Not supported: eBay, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Etsy, Allegro, Newegg, Temu and the other sites marked unsupported in the actor's matrix. Unsupported inputs get a status row and are never billed beyond the run's start fee.
How much does it cost to track prices with this actor?
It is pay per event, priced by your Apify plan: $0.005 per run start, and $0.0048 (FREE plan) down to $0.0008 (GOLD) per product delivered. For example, 100 Amazon US products cost 100 × $0.0008 + $0.005 = $0.085 on GOLD, or 100 × $0.0048 + $0.005 = $0.485 on the FREE plan. Sites that need residential proxies or a browser add a per-MB or per-render fee. There is no free trial inside the actor; Apify's free plan gives $5 of usage every month, no credit card required.
Can I get only the products whose price changed?
Yes. Turn on onlyChanges (it also switches monitor mode on). The run then writes only new or changed products, and each unchanged product is billed at the lower product-checked rate ($0.0002 to $0.0012 by plan) instead of the product rate. Connect the run to an Apify integration or webhook to send those rows to Slack, email (through Make or Zapier) or Google Sheets.
When should I start tracking prices for Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after U.S. Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is November 30. Start the daily schedule a few weeks before, so you have a record of each product's normal price to compare against when the sale price appears. A tracker started on the day of the sale only knows the sale price and the was-price the retailer chooses to show.
What is originalPrice, and is it proof of a real discount?
originalPrice is the was-price or list price the product page shows, and the actor only fills it when it is higher than the current price. It is the retailer's own claim, not a verified price history. To judge a discount, compare the sale price with your own baseline, for example the median of the last 30 days of daily runs.
Does it track prices of sizes and colors (variants)?
Yes, when the page states them. With includeVariants on (the default), each product row carries a variants[] array in which every variant has its own sku, price, currency, inStock flag, options (such as Color or Size) and URL. In monitor mode a change to a variant marks the product as changed.
Why are some prices in the wrong currency?
When a page needs a residential proxy, the price can follow the proxy's country. By default the actor uses each marketplace's own country, and Amazon storefronts are pinned to their own currency automatically. Set proxyCountry to the market you care about (for example GB or DE) to see the prices and stock shown to shoppers there.
Can I switch from Apify's E-commerce Scraping Tool?
Yes for the input: E-commerce Product Scraper Pro accepts the same input field names and options, so you can paste your existing input JSON. Rows keep the main output field names that tool documents (url, name, offers, brand and so on) plus flat fields such as price, currency and inStock; check your integration against a sample run first.
